electric stoves with ipad buttons constitute the largest technological regression of all time im talking about the ones with retarded capacitive touch sensors that stop working, display errors, turn the whole stove off and all kinds of stupid shit when you spill 1ml of anything on them, or place your frying pan 1mm outside of its designated PRISON CIRCLE if you need to make a large adjustment of the temperature say from 3 -> 9 this process will take approx one century to complete if you want to cut the centuries in half by making two separate adjustments in parallel, gg enjoy errors (i assume cuz of way they are connected/multiplexed or whatever). STOVE ERRORS this is an anti-human interface imagine gordon ramsy or watever installing these in his high traffic resturants worst thing is that people are willing to buy this garbage cuz they think its modern/exclusive/better or something along those lines matter of truth fact, this is perfect for the manufacturers - way cheaper to produce than if you were to use proper mechanical rotary switches, and dumb fucking idiot consoomers think these shitsensors + a few aliexpress 7segments are an improvement in some way, while in reality this shit fucking sucks in use by the way, these devices invariably come with smart google ai automatic shut off safety feature the fact does not at any point enter the head of anyone responsible for this great advance in kitchen appliance technology that this might condition brains of users into thinking that ok its 2022 we dont need to turn anything off anymore, including 50year old stove at our cabin empirical evidence agrees, before my life was made permanently unbearable by one of these satanic monstrosities, i can honestly say never forgot to turn off a plate, oven or anything like this. i dont forget to turn off shit that i turned on, i dont forget to lock my car door, i dont forget where i put my keys. i simply never make mistakes of this type. this does not happen by default. UNLESS ur dumb dog brain is presented with a system that is beyond its capacity to understand intuitively. which does not take much - "some stoves turn themselves off and some dont" might be enough, and was in my case. its happened many times already, even with the oven in the same fuckgin device, which of course dos not know that u are not using it any more so cant off itself ipad stoves kill, psychologically and physically
